Bradford district hit by snow

THE Bradford district has been hit by snow overnight which is set to continue.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning of snow and ice for Yorkshire and the Humber from 8.50pm yesterday until 10am today.
Bradford City Centre was covered in a blanket of snow this morning but all of the main roads were passable.
Northern Rail has reported no weather-related train cancellations this morning on any of its services affecting the district but it is running a replacement bus service between Leeds and Brighouse due to engineering works.
Northern Rail services between York and Blackpool North will be diverted via Brighouse, and not calling at New Pudsey, Bradford Interchange or Halifax. A replacement bus service will operate between Leeds and Brighouse, calling at the affected stations.
