Inquest reveals more about the murder and suicide deaths of Idle couple Anthony Roberts and Margaride Rufino

AN inquest into the deaths of a couple at the centre of a murder/suicide police investigation has revealed more details about what happened.
Bradford coroner Martin Fleming heard how police broke into a house in Cross Road, Idle, and found Margaride Rufino's body on the living room floor.
Her partner, Anthony Roberts, was upstairs in a bath with a self-inflicted leg wound and a pulse.
The court heard a neighbour called 999 just before 6.30pm on Sunday, January 31. They told the operator a woman had come from the couple's house reporting a domestic incident.
When police arrived, the home was locked and they had to force their way into the back of the property and found 38-year-old Ms Rufino's body under a blood-stained sheet.

Despite officers starting CPR on Mr Roberts, a 37-year-old teacher, paramedics declared him dead a short time later.
Police believe Mr Roberts killed Ms Rufino, known as Guida, before taking his own life.
