A BRADFORD man this afternoon appeared in a Scottish court, charged with the murder of a Glasgow shopkeeper.
Tanveer Ahmed, 32, of Toller, Bradford, appeared at a private hearing at Glasgow SheriffCourt, after he was charged with the murder of Asad Shah.
Mr Shah, 40, who ran a newsagents and convenience store in the Shawlands area of Glasgow, was found seriously injured with stab wounds last Thursday, hours after posting an Easter message to the Christian nation.
Police Scotland had described his death as being "religiously prejudiced."
