POLICE are hunting a male driver involved in a "serious" two-car crash in Bradford that left a woman needing hospital treatment.

The woman had to be cut free from her car by fire crews from Bradford andFairweather Green following the incident on Fairbank Road, off Whetley Lane, just after 9.20pm last night.

An ambulance took the woman, who is in her 20s, to Bradford Royal Infirmary for treatment to her injuries, which are not thought to be serious.

She was trapped in a blue Ford Focus which had been in a collision with a blue VW Golf.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said this morning that both cars had been recovered from the scene, but confirmed that the male driver of the Golf had fled on foot.
