Bogus pizza delivery men smash window at Eccleshill house with baseball bat

BOGUS pizza delivery men smashed a window at a house in Eccleshill, Bradford, with a baseball bat in an apparently motiveless attack.
Police said the duo knocked on the front door of a house in Norman Lane at about 12.25am on Sunday.
The homeowner, a man in his 30s, looked out of his side door and saw a man on his driveway carrying a box who asked if he had ordered a pizza.
The occupant said he had not and, as he went to close the door, saw the second man - who had his face covered - holding what he believed was a baseball bat.
Police believe the bat was used to smash a pane of glass in the door before the two men ran off towards a white car.
Detective Inspector Andy Howard, of Bradford District CID, said: "We believe these males ran off towards a white hatchback-style car which was waiting nearby. This is described as looking similar to a Peugeot model.
