Bradford wakes up to unseasonal covering of late April snow

People in large parts of the Bradford district were this morning waking up to a covering of snow.
The unseasonal weather is not as yet causing any major problems with schools or transport.
Bradford Council was not reporting any school closures as of 6.15am this morning, and there are no reports of major issues on the roads.
So far the only disruption to schools announced is that St Philip's CofE Primary Academy in Manningham will be opening slightly later, at 9.30am.
Leeds Bradford Airport has advised passengers flying today to check the status of any flights with their operator or online. Some early morning flights have been delayed.
