Aviation student denies robbing Bradford bank

AN AVIATION student, accused of being involved in two raids at a Bradford bank, today denied robbery and firearms charges.
Ahmad Junaid, 18, of Hope Avenue, Bankfoot, Bradford, pleaded not guilty to four charges when he appeared at Bradford Crown Court.
He was accused of robbing Paul Marsden of £1,730 in cash, on October 30, 2015; possessing an imitation handgun at the time of committing an offence, on the same date; attempting to rob a woman of cash, on December 2 last year; and possessing an imitation shotgun at the time of committing an offence, on the same date.
Junaid is accused in connection with two armed bank raids at the Nat West bank (pictured) in Fair Road, Wibsey.
A date has been set for May 16 for the start of a three day trial.
