Man in hospital with serious head injuries after late night attack in Bingley

A MAN is in hospital with serious head injuries after he was attacked in Bingley late last night.
It is believed the man, who is in his 50s, hit his head on the road after being struck by another man following an argument.
Police were called to Myrtle Place at 11.50pm yesterday to a report of an assault.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the suspect had blond hair and possibly left the scene in a white Mini.
The injured man is being treated at Leeds General Infirmary.
Sadie Graves runs the Loft cafe on Main Street, Bingley directly opposite where the late night incident took place.
"This is a shocking thing to have happened right in the town centre," she said.
"I don't know any details, but you don't expect to see a police cordon when you come into work.
"I just hope the poor bloke is okay and that‎ the police get whoever is responsible."
