A COCAINE-FUELLED driver who jumped four red lights and careered along on the wrong side of the road in a high speed police chase from Halifax to Queensbury has been jailed for 15 months.
Joshua Winterbottom, 25, was 20 times the drug driving limit when he led officers on the 20 minute pursuit at 4am on April 8.
He had taken cocaine and MCAT before storming out of a former partner's home and driving off in a silver Vauxhall Astra while banned and uninsured, Bradford Crown Courtheard today.
Prosecutor Frances Pencheon said Winterbottom had previously been disqualified from driving for defective tyres and speeding.
This time, he was banned for three years after admitting dangerous driving, driving under the influence of cocaine, driving while disqualified and not being insured.
He was seen by the police speeding in Halifax town centre and pursued through Hipperholme and Brighouse, travelling at double the speed limit, crossing on to the wrong side of the road, taking a roundabout the wrong way and jumping four red traffic lights.
