TWO cars were dumped into a boating lake at a park in Bradford last night - and one of them was set on fire.
Fire crews from Shipley station were called to Lister Park, Manningham, at about 10.30pm.
A spokesman for the station said: "One of the cars was driven into the boating lake and set on fire. One was driven in but not set on fire."
He added that no-one was trapped in the vehicles and said a specialist water rescue unit team from Bingley fire station was called in to go in the lake and check.
One of the cars could still be seen in the lake this morning as efforts continued to remove it.
Shipley firefighters also dealt with car fires at Salts Sports Association in Saltaire and Shay Grange Golf Centre in Heaton.
A Vauxhall Vectra was set alight near the football pitches at Salts at about 9pm. Then, at about 10pm, a Mazda was set on fire at the entrance to the golf centre. Both cars were destroyed.
