POLICE hunting conmen who tricked a pensioner into handing over her life savings for non-existent roofing work have released e-fit images of the suspects.
The pair targeted Margaret Foster, 82, at her bungalow in Acre Crescent, Eccleshill, between noon and 1.30pm on Monday, October 3.
They told her that her neighbour was having roof work done for £3,000, but that they could do her roof for £1,900.

One of the men then drove Mrs Foster to Santander bank in Shipley – in her own light green Nissan Micra – where she withdrew £1,900.
The other man stripped tiles off Mrs Foster’s roof, causing between £4,000 and £5,000 of damage, and dumped them in her garden, before they left with the cash.
Now, with Mrs Foster’s help, officers have put together images of the suspects and are appealing for the public’s help in identifying them.
The first man was white, aged in his 30s, and wearing a navy hat and boiler suit. He was about 6ft tall and thought to have black, curly hair.
The second man was white, aged in his 40s and of a larger build.
He spoke in a local accent and was wearing a woolly navy hat and a navy boiler suit. He was around 5ft 6ins.
Police believe that they approached the property in a white Transit van.
