Police continue to probe gun incident in Hollybank Gardens, Great Horton, as resident compares scenes to 'action movie'

Police are today continuing to probe an attack on a Bradford street in which a 21-year-old man suffered serious injuries.
During the incident, a gun was fired, damaging a car.
Residents described scenes “from an action movie” as armed officers swooped on the residential street in Great Horton.

Police said the attack victim was in a serious but stable condition.
Officers were called to a house in Hollybank Gardens, Great Horton, at about 8pm on Monday after receiving a report of a man with a firearm.
As armed officers attended, police received further reports of what were thought to be gunshots at the location and of a man being assaulted.
The officers found the 21-year-old badly injured man at the scene.
A second man was taken to hospital with minor injuries to his hand.
Three men, aged 35, 37 and 38, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault. They remained in custody last night.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Following inquiries at the scene, police have confirmed there was a firearms discharge, but the injuries are not believed to have been caused by this.”
The spokesman said at least one, and possibly two, shots were fired, which had caused damage to a blue Audi A4.
