PEOPLE could be “killed or seriously injured” by “idiots” throwing missiles at buses in Wibsey, a councillor has warned.
The Keighley Bus Company’s 845 service will not go along Smith Avenue in the village after 6pm for the foreseeable future.
A spokesman for the company said the decision was made after up to eight incidents in the last two weeks of items such as bricks being thrown at buses and smashing windows on some.
Councillor David Green (Lab, Wibsey) said: “It is criminal behaviour that is totally unacceptable.

“It is potentially dangerous for the driver and for people on the bus.
“The idiots that are doing it might think it is amusing, but potentially they could kill or seriously injure someone.
“I would urge anyone with any information on who is responsible to come forward with that information before someone is killed or seriously injured.”
Cllr Green also bemoaned the inconvenience of having to divert the bus for people who use the service.
