Events to be held in Bradford and Haworth this weekend

THE Bradford Christmas lights switch-on is the headline attraction in a weekend of events across the district.
In addition, two stars of Bollywood will also be visiting the city, Haworth is being taken over by Steampunks, and a Victorian Christmas will be coming to a city museum.
To mark the Christmas lights switch-on, Bradford Council has organised a “spectacular show” from 5pm tomorrow.

It has worked with the likes of Take That and Katy Perry in the past.
Theatre company Spark! will bring its unique drumming act to the show, also featuring dazzling lights, costumes and choreography.
Sheffield-based fireworks team External Combustion will bring the show to a close with a grand firework finale.
Deputy Lord Mayor of Bradford Councillor Alun Griffiths will switch on the Christmas lights.
He said: “I’m thrilled to be taking part in this year’s Christmas Lights Spectacular.
“Previous shows have been outstanding so I’m really looking forward to seeing this one.”
Bollywood royalty Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor will be in City Park on Sunday, meeting fans from 4pm to 8pm ahead of the release of their new film, Befikre.
The event is free and there will be live entertainment throughout.
Haworth Steampunk Weekend starts today and is raising money for the Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice at Oxenhope.
Today there is a burlesque evening at Haworth Village Hall from 7.30pm, and tomorrow there is a masquerade ball at 7.30pm.
