Man, 21, in hospital with suspected gunshot wounds after a shooting in Scholemoor, Bradford

A MAN is in hospital with suspected gunshot wounds to his back after a shooting incident in Bradford last night.
The firearm was discharged at an address in Scholemoor Avenue, Bradford, and police were called at 7.36pm after gunshots were reported.
The discharge caused damage to a door and window, and a 21-year-old man presented himself at hospital following the incident.
The occupants of the property were found safe and well.
The man remains in hospital in a stable condition.


Increased patrols were being carried out in the area yesterday, but police believe this was a targeted attack.
A police spokesman said: "Police were called to an address in Scholemoor Avenue, Bradford at about 7.36pm yesterday after gunshots were reported. 
"Firearms officers attended and confirmed there had been a discharge with damage caused to a door and window.  
"The occupants of the address were found to be safe and well.
