Jail for dealer, of Heaton Bradford, caught with bags of heroin and crack cocaine

A 23-YEAR-OLD man has been jailed for more than three years after he was involved in bagging up heroin and crack cocaine.
A court heard today that Imran Khan, who had no previous convictions for drugs offences, was being given a hard time by associates back in 2015 and he eventually helped to bag up the Class A drugs on two or three occasions.
Barrister John Batchelor, for Khan, said his client was not dealing himself, but he had been trusted to bag up drugs.
Bradford Crown Court heard that in June 2015 police officers began to follow a Vauxhall Corsa being driven in the Tyersal Lane area in the early hours

Prosecutor Christopher Moran said the car eventually stopped after driving into a dead end street and Khan, who was a front seat passenger, ran off.
Khan was arrested after a chase on foot and police later recovered a plastic bag which contained 34 heroin packages with a street value of £340 and a further 14 packages of crack cocaine with a street value of about £200.
The court heard that Khan also had £300 in cash on him.
At the police station Khan, of Little Lane, Heaton, told police: "It wasn't me. Anything in that car didn't belong to me."
Khan eventually pleaded guilty in June last year to possessing the Class A drugs with intent to supply on the basis that he had been paid to bag up drugs.
